Dare to Dream

P7260087Most people have really, really big dreams when they are kids. Then something happens and life gets in our way and we give up on those dreams. Well this young man, Daniel Seddiqui, did not.  He had a dream to see the world. When he graduated from college last year, 2008, he was not able to find a job. So, instead of giving up on his dream he decided to see 50 states in 50 weeks by getting 50 jobs.

Before he began his quest he had these thoughts:

“I was like, ‘How much money do I need for a trip like this?’ Before I started I didn’t think I could rely on the hospitality of American people. I thought I was gonna need $100,000.”

Now I understand that his dream is to write a book and make a documentary. This is what is I call DARING TO DREAM.

The picture I posted yesterday for Wordless Wednesday was taken last July at a fireworks event. Everybody knows that July 4th is the day we here in the United States celebrate our freedom. Another example of daring to dream.

Did you post your story at tell me thursday?

I personally am daring to dream by working my way towards breaking free from the bonds of a boss.

What is your dream?

Empower yourself, take action on something you read here today.
