I was unable to tell my story last Thursday behinds Wednesday’s Wordless Wednesday because I was some place that did not have internet. Yes, I had my trusty iPhone; however the story was way too long to use the iPhone for posting. Photos and stories about where I went next week.
On Tuesday, July 14, Duncan (my husband) and I went to a place called Jungle Jim’s International Market. So what, exactly, is Jungle Jim’s International Market? In the words of Jim, “It’s a grocery store unlike any other supermarket you’ve ever experienced.”
Just driving into the parking lot is an experience like no other. The “grocery” store is surrounded my a moving monorail! We walked into the store and this is what we saw:

So of course I had to check out the award winning restrooms. To get to those award winning restrooms you have to walk through the wine and beer section. This is not a small section of the store. According to Jungle Jim’s website, they have more than 12,000 wine labels from around the world. Duncan and I took our time and browsed through wine aisles. So by the time I get around to the restrooms, I really need to use the facilities, not just check them out.
When I get to where the restrooms are, I am really thinking that there is some false advertising going on here. Even though I needed to use the facilities by this point, I am really, really wondering if I am going to go into these award winning restrooms! The entrance to the men’s room is the same, except it says “men”. We are really not sure what to think. We stand there is shock and watch a couple of people go in. They do not come right back out, so I’m thinking “How bad can it be and I have to go!”

So, I enter the restroom and knew instantly I had my Wordless Wednesday Photo and my Tell Me Thursday story. According to GoEnglish dot com,”You can’t judge a book by its cover” means that before you can judge something you need to take a deeper closer look at it. I do believe the awarding winner restrooms fall into an example of needing to take a deeper closer look.

The remainder of the facility is just as beautiful. I was not comfortable going around snapping photos with my iPhone while people where in there or you would get more photos of the “award winning restrooms” at Jungle Jim’s.
Henry David Thoreau said “That man is richest whose pleasures are cheapest.” For me, exploring Jungle Jim’s was a “cheap” pleasure. The experience also gave me a story to help me to remember not to “judge a book by it’s cover”. I personally remember the important lessons far better from stories.
Did you Tell me Thursday?
