In my notes on over on FaceBook Are you Scaring Away your Prospects, I shared that the ‘Blues’ personalities are open and direct. Blues are considered open because they are friendly and will answer your question. They may even tell you their whole life story. They are considered direct because they will share their point of view, regardless of how others may feel. Their intent is not to hurt your feelings, they are just direct and to the point.
Are You Blue?
Their motto is: Fun, Fun, Fun, and more fun. They make great promoters. Excitement draws them like bees to pollen. Their rate of speech is usually very rapid and loud. Especially when they get excited.
These fun, bubbly, talkative individual is usually in sales, entertaining, public speaker or in some form of profession that allows them to have fun and be creative. These fun loving, bubbly individuals are great team members. They’ll bring a lot of their friends with them. The more the merrier according to a Blue.
These fun oriented individuals can have a difficult time being organized. They best way to assist this type of individual is to help them create an system for being organized and focused.
When sharing your opportunity with an individual that you have figured out is blue, talk about all the fun they will, the trips they can win, the new cars they can own. Anything fun. They really do not care about the facts or figures. They will see the big picture right away and be drawn to the fun.
Blues make up 15% of the population. Being pushy or overly demanding will turn them away.
